The examination couch should consist of a first part (1.1) taking the pelvis, legs and feet of the patient and a second part (1.2) for the upper body. The patient adopts a position with the hips in the bend part (3). There is a recess (1.21) in the second erectable part (1.2) in the area of the heart apex. Pref. spacers (2) are fitted between the underframe (3) and erectable part (1.2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Echo cardiography. Couch offers patient comfort combined with ample heart access for echo sonde.
