The driverless transport vehicle has a control computer using control data from a central computer and/or vehicle sensor data and internal vehicle parameter and destination table data to guide the vehicle. The control computer communicates at least intermittently with the central computer and possibly with processing stations. The vehicle parameters are stored in control computer memory regions positively associated with dialogue computer data storage regions accessible and changeable by an operator. The data in the memories can be interchanged. USE/ADVANTAGE - Quickly and flexibly adaptable to different vehicle types, route, destinations and requirements.
