Continuous adjustment of the telescoping mirror is achieved by an inner tube (8) driven by a threaded rod (12) through a nut (15) attached to the tube, extending outwards through an outer tube (9). The rod is driven via crown gears (11) by a motor (10) thus allowing remote positioning of the mirror. The entire drive is contained within the mounting frame of the mirror which is fixed to secure parts of the driver's cabin. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improves driver comfort by allowing positioning of mirror from sitting position.
