Measuring pressure changes e.g. in ABS ASR braking systems - using relative cheap temp. sensor and software derivation of rate of pressure changes

A method of detecting the variation in the pressure of a medium involves measuring the temp. of the medium and then determining the variation in the pressure from the known and stored relationship between the temp. and the rate of change of pressure. The pressure can then be derived by integrating the rate of change of pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - Determining braking pressure in motor vehicle ABS and ASR braking systems. Cost of obtaining pressure information is low since the temp. sensor is relatively cheap and the derivation costs lie in the software.
