A skin disinfectant is based on a known alcohol/water mixt, pref contg up to 80 vol% EtOH, isopropanol and/or n-propanol, esp a mixt of isopropanol and n-propanol, and contains as volatile refattening agent at least 1 Me-cyclosiloxane ((CH3)2SiO)n (where n is 3-5), (pref Me8-cyclotetrasiloxane, pref in amts 0.1-12 (esp. 2-6) wt%, and pref also a buffer soln contg phosphates, lactates and/or acetates, esp the NH4 salts. -
