Rotor blade arrangement for depth balancing - applies balance wt. in halves about rotor axis without affecting static longitudinal moment

An arrangement for balancing rotor blades contains a balancing wt. which can be placed in a chamber (2.1,2.2) with a cover on one side of the blade and whose profile corresp. to the cross-section of the chamber extending in the blade depth direction. The chamber is filled with a wt. body of identical halves (3.1,3.2) positioned in front of and behind a blade axis (4). The front half (3.1) is embedded in the chamber part (2.1) on the blade nose side and held by the rear half (3.2) which, with its cover, fills the rear chamber part (2.2). ADVANTAGE - Easy handling.
