摘要
A number corresp. to the indicating hands' position is stored in a volatile electronic data memory (5) for each step of the hands (2). When a working voltage monitor (7) identifies a drop in the working voltage or its interruption. This indicating number is stored in a non-volatile memory (6). Upon increase in the working voltage or its application the number is read out from the latter (6) and compared with the hand and/or calendar position given by the radio time signal decoder (85). The number of steps required is calculated by an electronic computer (4) and applied to the positioning motors (1) driving the clock hands and/or calendar display. ADVANTAGE - Allows automatic positioning of hands to received time signals upon application of working voltage, e.g. from battery without having to note hand position and independently of size of mechanical components.
