摘要
The process controller comprises several sensing devices, containing one or more Analogue to Digital Converters (ADC), and a programmable-memory controller connected to the address bus of a central processor. The programmable-memory controller contains parameter-based routines called up by different parts of the main programme, with address pointers alerting ADCs to the standby, beginning or end of routines. Conversion results are stored w.r.t. their originating processes and can be manipulated, e.g. for digital amplification of the analogue signal, before being passed on the bus to the processor or a display. ADVANTAGE - Function routines are independent of ADCs. Single-bit recognition invokes multiple processes.
