A nappy incorporates a front part and a rear part, each equipped with an indentation to accommodate legs. The front part and the rear part are joined together in one piece in the lower area of the indentation. When the nappy has been put on, the parts can be joined together in the top end area of the indentation by means of at least one adhesive zone. Each adhesive zone is formed through a double-sided adhesive tape, the inner adhesive layer of which features a bigger adhesion power than the outer adhesive layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - The double sided adhesive tape can be applied fast and continuously to raise prodn speeds.
