Waste from industrial surface coatings - can be disposed of by e.g. mixing with various types of other waste and e.g. hot press moulding into articles used in the building industry

In a method of disposing of residues from industrial surface coatings they are used for the prodn. of mouldings; and flat sheets in particular, which are used in the building industry. The moulded material pref. uses liq. polyurethane binder when the residues concerned contain polyurethane foam. ADVANTAGE - The process saves costs by utilising waste material which has hitherto provided serious problems in its disposal. The waste often contains metal particles and these are beneficial because they impart anti-static properties to the products.
