Laser-guided straight line marking appts. - adjusts travel direction of paint-dispensing vehicle relative to laser beam

A laserr system produces a guiding beam along a straight line. A receiver in the vehicle determines the vehicles position in relation to the guiding beam. As the vehicle advances the distance travelled is determined. The direction of the vehicle is kept constant w.r.t. the laser direction. The appts may include a paint dispenser. The dispenser can be lifted by following a program in order to paint dashed lines for example. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for dividing exhibition halls, car parks, sports grounds etc. Does not require pre-positioned markers.
