A concrete or cement floor is laid with the aid of a vessel in the form of an inverted pot (10) which is supported on legs (16) and with the pot opening facing towards the floor. The pot is supplied with the cement or concrete by means of a flexible pipe (22) which is connected to an opening in the pot side wall (18). The supply pipe has an end fitting with a mushroom shaped head. The pipe is supported by a clamp (30) attached to the legs (16). This method of support enables the pipe to rotate relative to the pot, so that the pot can be easily moved from place to place over the floor. USE - Forming of cement or concrete floors.
