When emptying large flexible barrels of fluids into a filling pipe during emptying, the container is stretched in the axial direction of the filler pipe by drawing on the outlet pipe. By shortening its radial dimensions the container is deformed so that the outlet cone of the contents turns out approximately equal to or larger than the incline of at least the deformed container base. The outlet pipe which is fixed to the filler pipe is folded in ring-shaped above the fixed pipe end. For easy use a support: (10) can be provided to surround the filler pipe (9) and an axially movable fold ring (23) encloses the outlet pipe (6) or end of the foil liner (5) whilst a fold ring drive presses the fold ring (23) into the filler pipe.
