The security switch comprises a switch housing (1) with a switch enclosed therein, a striker for operating the switch contacts, a driving mechanism cooperating with the striker, and a switch head (2) disposed on the housing (1). The driving mechanism is freely rotatable in relation to the striker and the striker axis. The switch head (2) has one or more apertures (3,4) for the insertion of an operator (5) adapted to the particular device. The driving mechanism operates with the operator (5). The switch head (2) is fully rotatable about the switch axis. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for screen grid, shutter, door etc. Simplifies and optimises alignment of safety switch.
