The heat exchanger for heating and vaporising of liquefied car carbon dioxide has partitions between passages, forming heat transfer bridges between the media. Each passage comprises a pipe coil (6, 8) embedded in a block (4) of material with high heat conductivity. The partitions are formed by adjacent pipe walls and the block material between them.
