Thermographic material has a substrate and thermographic layer contg. an aromatic or heterocyclic isocyanate cpd. (I) and an imino cpd. (II), which develops colour on reaction with (I). (I) is in the form of particles with an average dia. of 0.7-3.0 microns. - (I) is pref. dispersed using a ball mill, sand mull, dyno-mill, attritor or colloid mill.
