Pollution-free disposal of hospital waste - by collecting waste in filter container, steam sterilising and discharging waste and steam into incinerator

After collection at its point of origin into a sealed container, hospital waste material is sterilised by steam before the container and its contents are taken to an incinerator. Steam used for sterilisation is absorbed by a chemisorption filter. When the mobile container reaches the incinerator, it is automatically connected thereto, esp. by a water cooled fitting; the container is topped by hydraulic mechanism to discharge its contents into the combustion zone, which also receives steam liberated from the filter, to be totally consumed within the incinerator. After tipping back to normal position, the container resumes its return journey to the waste delivery location. ADVANTAGE - Simple process prevents atmos. pollution and provides no risk to personnel.
