The pendulum rod (50) is at least partially rotatable about its length axis (A) and released by the movement regulator of the clockwork. The pendulum rod is rotatable relative to a torsion spring (40) to which it is coupled. One wt. (64,65) is installed below the pendumlum rod and in the form of a wt. plate suspended below the base plate (60). The wt.(s) is or are rotatable relative to the pendulum rod and fixed to the latter or the spring. Each wt. plate is fitted to a rod-like end-piece (56) of the spindle (51) of the pendulum which rotatably holds the end-piece. USE/ADVANTAGE - Drive is suitable for small, mantelpiece, pendulum clock and is protected against damage.
