This device is made up of a cooking container 1, heated electrically or by any other means, and of a refrigerating container 2 placed beside it but at a lower level, so as to enable the foods, once they are cooked, to be emptied out into this container 2 by means of a valve and endless screw 15, these foods being pushed by a stirring whisk driven in a to-and-fro motion by an endless screw 21. The same operation is carried out for emptying out the refrigerated foods from the container 2 by means of the tap 16. The refrigerating container 2 is equipped in its bottom with a double wall 8 full of antifreeze liquid refrigerated by a built-in semitubular element 7 coming from a tank 5 forming a reserve of fluid refrigerated by means of a compressor 13.
