A space vehicle for the mission by microgravity and advantages of using such a vehicle

The vehicle includes a recoverable capsule containing experiments to be carried out in microgravity. It comprises a platform 10 having a spin axis 16, onto which the capsule is fixed by means 24, 26 able to free the load. The platform is equipped with means 18 constituting the mechanical interface of a satellite on a launch rocket and means 32 for creating an external control torque for rotation of the vehicle around the axis. The capsule is designed to withstand the return from an elliptical orbit approximating to a geostationary transfer orbit. IMAGE
