COMPUTER SYSTEM CHINESE INPUT METHOD AND THE RELATED KEYBOARD STRUCTURE

In a computer system Chinese input method which takes apart every Chinese character into codes and then takes a head and an end code therefrom for rapid keyboard input: (1) Original Chang Jei Codes and key positions remain unchanged with an additional twenty two codes for supplement; (2) For the Chinese characters which can be taken apart into upper and lower or left and right codes, take the left, the upper or the upper left code as a head code for each character and the right, the lower or the lower right code as an end code for each character; for the Chinese characters which cannot be taken apart into upper and lower or left and right codes, take the outer code as a head code and the inner code at the lower right as an end code; (3) Exact codes or very similar codes can be found on the keyboard, little variation exists, and therefore, no radical chart is required to help remember the codes; (4) Specific keys are designated for direct input of the special routine characters "@", "@" and "@". (5) Quick input is provided for specific terms, idioms, address and phrases by inputting the head code from each character or the head code from each of the first four characters; and (6) Arrangement of codes and patterns is made according to the relative position of a code in the whole pattern of a Chinese character or according to the similarity in pattern or meaning relative to the patterns or symbols originally marked on the keys of a keyboard.
