PURPOSE:To hold a metal mold temperature accurately at a fixed set tempertaure in a plastic molding die. CONSTITUTION:An electric heater 12 for heating a metal mold is installed to the molding die 10, a flow path 14 flowing a heating medium for cooling the mold is mounted, and a temperature sensor 16 detecting the temperature of the metal mold is fitted while a power supply section is connected to the electric heater. The feeder of the heating medium is connected to the flow path, and control sections 20, 22 controlling conduction through the electric heater and the flowing of the heating medium on the basis of the detecting signal of the temperature sensor in order to keep the temperature of the molding die at a set temperature at the time of molding are provided. The metal mold is heated directly by the electric heater while being rapidly cooled by the heating medium for cooling, thus making the metal mold respond to the temperature change of the molding die rapidly, then stably adjusting the temperature of the metal mold.
