CONGLUTINATION PREVENTING METHOD OF ADHESIVE DUST PRODUCED DURING REGENERATION OF ASPHALT PAVEMENT SCRAP

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in equipment performance due to adhesive dust, which is produced during the regeneration process of asphalt pavement scrap and discharged from a dryer, conglutinating on a flue, a dust collector and the like. CONSTITUTION:A supply pipe 15, into which stone powder is mixed as a property recovery agent for asphalt pavement scrap, is connected to a discharge gas outlet portion of the flue 4 of a dryer 1 acting as a heating device for the asphalt pavement scrap, and the end of the supply pipe 15 is arranged along the flowing direction of the discharged gas. The stone powder is then delivered into the supply pipe 15 under pressure, charged into the flue 4 and mixed in the gas flow delivered from the dryer 1 to cover the surface of the dust. The stone powder caught by a cyclone dust collector 17 and a bag filter 18, connected to the dryer 1 downstream thereof, and the dust covered with the stone powder are used without waste by restoring them into a mixer 11 and mixing them in the regenerated blened asphalt.
