METHOD FOR PRINTING VARIOUS PATTERNS SUCH AS OF FEELING OF JAPANESE PAPER, GRAIN OR PLANT SKIN ON PLASTIC FILM

PURPOSE:To obtain the mat feeling and touch near to those of Japanese paper by printing various patterns on a plastic film subjected to surface treatment using ink and color ink by gravure printing and overcoating the patterns with ink to which a highly water-absorbable polymer is added. CONSTITUTION:Various patterns are printed on a plastic film subjected to surface treatment using white ink 1 and various color inks 2 usable even in a surface-treated or untreated film by gravure printing and overcoated with ink 3 to which a highly water-absorbable polymer is added. By this method, the mat feeling, touch and gloss near to those of Japanese paper can be obtained only by applying printing to the plastic film without using Japanese paper.
