METHOD FOR PRE-TREATING MOLTEN IRON IN CASTING FLOOR OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement of reaction efficiency of a molten iron pretreatment. CONSTITUTION:A tilting trough 3 is enabled to be shiftable to the tip end of an iron tapping trough 2 and a projecting lance 5 is loaded on a lance carriage 8 moved while following with the movement of the tilting trough 3 and also concentration meter 6 for dust is provided. The concentration of dust generated by the molten iron pre-treatment in the tilting trough 3 is measured, and by moving the tilting trough 3 so as to reduce the obtd. concentration of dust, the molten iron 1 from a molten iron trough 2 is dropped in the center of the tilting trough 3. Since the molten iron 1 is dropped to the center part where bath depth is deep, splash is prevented and also the projected molten iron treating agent 9 is sufficiently mixed into the molten iron 1.
