PURPOSE:To reduce the distribution of the actual value to the aimed iron loss value of a steel sheet and to improve the quality by calculating the necessary imparting heating value to the steel sheet from the aimed iron loss value and the prescribed component quntity in the steel sheet and setting furnace temp. in an annealing furnace and/or sheet passing speed so as to become the above- mentioned heating value. CONSTITUTION:From Si, C, Mn and S contents in the steel sheet obtd. as the component information in the above-mentioned process and the imparted heating value to be the energy quantity for crystal growth calculated from temp. hysteresis in the annealing furnace and the sheet passing speed for the steel sheet, a functional formula for predicting the iron loss value is introduced by using the actual value. From this functional formula, the necessary imparting heating value to make the steel sheet the aimed iron loss, is calculated with the aimed iron loss value for steel sheet to be the control object and each content of Si, C, Mn and S, and at least either of the furnace temp. or the sheet passing velocity is calculated and set so as to become this necessary imparting heating value.
