PURPOSE: To provide a recording carrier with which various kinds of music are recorded by recording the 1st group of g1 pieces of music on the A side of the recording carrier, recording the 2nd group of g2 pieces of music on the B side, suitably selecting these groups and approximating the respective time intervals of two groups to the half of all time intervals. CONSTITUTION: In response to control signals supplied through lines 31, 35 and 36 to memories 9, 37 and 38, 1st and 2nd groups g1 and g2 of music are formed, the time intervals of musics in these groups are added by accumulators 39 and 40 and respective all time intervals T0 (g1 ) and T0 (g2 ) of two groups are found. These values are supplied to comparators 33 and 34 and according to T0 /2-T0 (g1 ) and T0 /2T0 (g2 ), control signals are generated at output terminals 41 and 42. These signals are inputted to a central arithmetic unit 30 and all the time intervals of both the groups are approximated to T0 /2.
