FILLER FOR BONE OMISSION PART, BONE CAVITY PART, AND BONE ABSORPTION PART

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a filler with superior organic affinity and early bone forming capacity and is fixed at a part to be filled and with sufficient strength by employing the filler of grain consisting of hydroxyapatite, setting the minimum diameter of the grain at specific size, and providing with plural dents with diameter of specific size on the surface of the grain. CONSTITUTION:The filler for bone omission part, bone cavity part, and bone absorption part consists of hydroxyapatite, and the minimum diameter of the grain is set within a range of 0.1-3.0mm. When the minimum diameter of the grain is less than 0.1mm, a gap generated by the contact of the grains when the filler is filled goes to size unsuitable for the invasion of a body fluid component, which makes fixing on a part requiring filling hard. When the minimum diameter exceeds 3.0mm, the amount of the filler is reduced, and also, excessive gap is formed between the grains, which requires much time until the gap is filled with bone tissue. The hole diameter of the dent formed on the surface of the grain is set within a range of several-500 mum. When it is less than several mum, no connection of neighboring filler occurs, and the filler is easy to move to another part other than a desired filling part, and also, when it exceeds 500 mum, the strength is lowered.
