PURPOSE: To provide a two-for-one-twisting spindle with a compressed air operated device for automatically feeding the threads without needing a deflecting plate fixed on each rotational member of the spindle. CONSTITUTION: This spindle includes a first deflecting surface 14, attached to the underside of the turntable 2, at the outer opening 12.2 of the thread feeding channel 12, the first deflecting surface 14 being provided with an upwardly curved second deflecting surface 15 via the inflexion point. Width (h) of the outer opening 12.2 and radius R of the second deflecting surface 15 satisfy the relationship R/h3.
