CONCRETE BREAKING METHOD USING EXTRA-HIGH VOLTAGE IMPACT IMPULSE

PURPOSE:To enhance the demolition working efficiency without producing noise and dust or the like by mounting electrodes on both ends of concrete part to apply fixed extra-high voltage for a short time for breaking the concrete in a moment by an impact impulse electric current between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A pair of electrodes 2, 3 are buriedly or abuttedly provided on both the ends of a concrete body to be broken or its part 1. Extra-high voltage of 50-1000kv is then applied between the electrodes 2, 3 for a short time of 1-100musec. The concrete body 1 can thereby be broken in a moment by an impact impulse electric current between the electrodes 2, 3. Thus, the demolition works for the concrete body can efficiently be executed.
