PURPOSE:To eliminate insertion of a package exceeding the number of thread guards of a creel and to save a labor by inputting an insertion quantity of a package, determined responding to a fabric condition, to the controller of a robot in which a package is inserted, and inserting the inputted quantity of the packages. CONSTITUTION:A controller 81 to input an insertion quantity of a package P determined based on a fabric condition and insert a set insertion quantity of the package P in a peg 5 is mounted on a robot 23 to automatically insert the package P in the peg 5 of a warper creel 3. Since the package P in a quantity determined based on a fabric condition is inserted in the creel 3, there is no need to manually regulate an insertion quantity of the package P, resulting in save of a labor.
