PURPOSE:To reduce a sample and enable rapid and highly accurate quantitative analysis by obtaining spectra of target components and another component of a sample with a known amount of tracer same as the target component added and a sample without addition and by determining the recovery rate by operation based on specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:Similar chemical treatment is performed on a sample A without a tracer added and a sample B with tracer added which contains a known amount Tx of the tracer of the same component as that of a target component X, and concentration of the components X in the respective samples A, B and removable of impurities are done, so that spectrum intensities NXA, MYA, NXB, MYB of the target component X and another component Y of the samples A, B are obtained respectively. Then by determining a spectrum intensity ratio RXY based on an equation I, tracer contribution NT based on an equation II and further tracer recovery ET based on an equation III by operation, the recovery ET can be accurately obtained, while highly accurate quantitative analysis of a target component is possible only with two samples while the number of samples is reduced.
