PURPOSE:To easily realize a thrust static gaseous bearing having infinite rigidity in simple formation. CONSTITUTION:A movable bush 14 is provided between a bearing body 10 and the flange part of a rotary shaft 11 so as to be movable in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 11, and a pressure chamber 17 is formed between the movable bush 15 and the bearing body 10, and a bearing gap for a thrust static pressure gaseous bearing is formed between the movable bush 15 and the flange. The pressure chamber 17 communicates with a gas supply source through the first restriction 18 and with the bearing gap through the second restriction 23, and a spring member 19 to elastically deform in the case where the movable bush 15 has moved is provided.
