SPLIT TANK OF OIL-IMMERSED ELECTRIC MACHINERY AND APPARATUS AND ITS ASSEMBLY METHOD

PURPOSE:To execute a splitting operation by freely combining a horizontal splitting operation with a vertical splitting operation by a method wherein vertical flanges are formed of thick plates whose thickness is larger than that of horizontal flanges and welding grooves are formed in the whole circumference on the side of opposite faces. CONSTITUTION:Before a tank is assembled, it is divided into lower-stage tanks 1-1 to 1-3, middle-stage tanks 1-4 to 1-7 and upper-stage tanks 1-8 to 1-10. Horizontal flanges 5 and vertical flanges 4 whose sheet thickness is about twice that of the horizontal flanges and which are provided with welding grooves on opposite front sides are installed at individual split units. Seats 11 for temporary connection use are formed at side plates. That is to say, the individual split units belonging to the same horizontally cut slices are bound firmly by auxiliary beams whose rigidity is high by utilizing the seats 11 for temporary connection use; and the groove parts of the vertical flanges are welded on their whole circumference and united collectively. Consequently, the split tank is regulated and integrated to only a horizontal splitting operation, and a sealing structure is simplified. Thereby, a splitting operation whose degree of freedom is high by combining the horizontal splitting operation with a vertical splitting operation can be realized.
