UPDATING METHOD FOR PARTS SHAPE IN ASSEMBLY DRAWING IN TWO-DIMENSIONAL CAD DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency by storing reference position information and reference position, and placing a parts shape for updating in a prescribed position in an assembly drawing, based on these information. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of a graphic display device 11, a position input/command input device 12, a graphic processor 13, a parts shape updating device 20, an assembly shape storage part 14, an assembly drawing reference position information storage part 21, an assembly drawing data base 22, an updating parts shape storage part 16, an updating parts reference information storage part 23, and a parts drawing data base 24. In this case, position information of an assembly drawing and reference position information of parts for updating are stored, and a shape of the assembly drawing is placed automatically in a prescribed position in the assembly drawing by using the reference position information by the parts shape updating device 20. In such a way, the manhour for updating the parts shape in the assembly drawing is small, the operation procedure is concise and the work efficiency is improved.
