AUTOMATIC ORDERING SYSTEM BASED ON SINGLE COMMODITY STOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To automate the ordering tasks of each store by controlling the POS data on all stores and the stock conditions by a host computer. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1-2, a POS terminal 1-1 of each store through which the commodity data are inputted, and a commodity center 1-3 serving as a physical distribution base are connected to each other by a communication circuit which transfers the data in an on-line system. Meanwhile the computer 1-2 is connected to a supplier 1-4 via a VAN or FAX circuit for transmission of the ordering information.
