PURPOSE:To attain the output of the week information, to reduce the input job load of the week information, and to prevent the errors, etc., caused by the input mistakes by performing the prescribed computing operations with use of the data on days and the days of the week or the data on dates. CONSTITUTION:A day-of-the-week defining means 11 is provided to define the numerical value based on the days of the week together with a means 13 which turns the days of the week into the numerical value, i.e. turns the received data on the days of the week into the numerical value based on the numerical value defined by the means 11 to output the numerical value, a means 12 which turns the dates into the numerical value, i.e., turns the received date data into the numerical value to output this, and a computing means 14 which adds together the outputs of both means 12 and 13 and outputs the quatient produced by dividing the obtained addition value by 7. Then the days of the week are turned into the numerical value based on the numerical value defined to the days of the week. At the same time, the date data are also turned into the numerical value. These days of the week and the date turned into the numerical value are added together. Thus the addition value is constant in the same week regarless of the days of the week. Then the week information can be easily obtained.
