CRAWLER TYPE SMALL-SIZED TRANSPORTING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To provide easy turning in a narrow area such as a stair landing by installing a pair of static pressure transmissions which drive the respective driving wheels of right and left crawlers, and arranging the static pressure transmissions and a prime mover on an approximately diagonal line. CONSTITUTION:A crawler type small-sized transporting machine consists of left and right crawlers 1, 2, a static pressure transmission 3 which drives a driving wheel installed ahead of one of the crawlers 1, a static pressure transmission 4 which drives a driving wheel installed behind the other crawler 2, and a prime mover 5 which drives both the static pressure transmissions 3, 4. Both the static pressure transmissions 3, 4 are arranged on a diagonal line so as to drive the driving wheel installed ahead of one crawler 1 and the driving wheel installed behind the other crawler 2, by which the cross width of the transporting machine is decreased and left and right crawlers 1, 2 can be driven separately. It is thus possible to turn the transporting machine easily even in a narrow area such as a stair landing.
