PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having a freezing point in a low temperature range, excellent flexibility and long cold-insulating time by dispersing a hydrated gel composition containing a water-absorbing resin in a hydrophobic organic solvent having a freezing point falling within a specific low temperature range. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition having a freezing point of =0 deg.C is produced by dispersing (A) a hydrated get composition containing a water- absorbing resin such as crosslinked (meth)acrylic acid salt polymer, crosslinked styrene/maleic anhydride salt copolymer and crosslinked PVA in (B) a hydrophobic organic solvent having a freezing point of =-20 deg.C such as octanol, octanediol, 1,4-dichlorobutane, dichloro-ethane, n-heptane and silicone oil.
