PURPOSE:To obtain a box body easy to accommodate parts and a method for accommodating parts, by fixing a panel retained by 1-3 sides out of panels retained by four sides of a rectangular frame by a metallurgical method, and mechanically coupling the residual panels. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcement bodies 5, 6 are fixed to a bottom panel 1 and side panels 2, 3, by discontinuously performing welding or soldering. The end portions of the reinforcement bodies 5, 6 of the panels 1-3 are linked via a coupling segment 13. The panel 1 and the panels 2, 3 are fastened with rivets R, and a reinforcement body 7 is linked via the coupling segment 13. When a controlling equipment or the like is accommodated in this state, the accommodating work can be easily performed, because a front cover 14A, a rear cover 14B, and a ceiling panel 4 are not present. Thereby the accommodating work of the controlling equipment and the like for a rolling stock is facilitated.
