ASSOCIATIVE MEMORY CIRCUIT AND ASSOCIATIVE MEMORY CELL ARRAY

PURPOSE:To decrease the constituent of a circuit by sharing a signal line to supply the key information to a comparing circuit and a signal line to supply a second signal to control the action of a memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:The control of the conducting and non-conducting of a (p) channel transistor 40 to supply the power is performed by a first signal to control the reading and writing of information supplied from a word line 31 and a signal to take the logic of a second signal to control the action of the memory circuit supplied from a signal line 1. When in order to control the writing, reading and other action of a memory circuit 30, the signal line 11 is used, the output of a comparing circuit 50 is made into the invalid condition, when the comparing action is performed by the comparing circuit 50, the information corresponding to key information is impressed to the signal line 11 from the condition where the information is held at the memory circuit 30. By such a configuration with the simple constitution to suppress the constituent to the minimum limit, the associative memory circuit can be realized.
