PURPOSE:To obtain the output of an expression formation period which is appropriate to the intermediate expression of the retrieval of resemblance conception and machine translation. CONSTITUTION:A sentence inputted in a sentence input part 1 is classified into whether it is active or in terms of a state by a vocabulary kind in a sentence single event part 2, an active verb and expression concerning to the verb are collectively made into one event unit and all the inputted sentences are expressed by the event unit. An intra-event analysis part 3 analizes meaning structure inside the single event by collation with a verb dictionary for event analysis, an interevent analysis part 4 analizes meaning structure between the single events through the use of a relation dictionary for event analysis and an event expression integration output part 5 integrates the result of the intraevent analysis part and the interevent analysis part and outputs the meaning structure of the inputted sentence.
