PURPOSE:To improve recovery ratio of the obtd. alloy powder by adding Y2O3, ThO2, etc., to raw material powder of Ni base alloy specifying particle diameter and executing mechanical alloying under atmosphere limiting oxygen content. CONSTITUTION:The size of raw material powder having face-centered cubic structure in Ni base alloy or Fe-Cr-Ni series alloy as the essential component is made to be =100mum. The stable oxide of Y2O3, ThO2, etc., is added to this raw material powder and made to multiple powder with the mechanical alloying method. This operation is executed under atmosphere containing =1% O2. In the case O2 exists in the atmosphere, powder quantity stuck to ball surface and vessel wall is reduced and the multiple powder having fine particle size is obtd. By this method, dispersing reinforced heat resistant alloy having little of the whole oxygen content can be manufactured with good yield.
