EXPANSION/CONTRACTION PREVENTIVE FORMING METHOD FOR HONEYCOMB CORE/AND FORMING EXPANSION/CONTRACTION PREVENTIVE PLATE USED FOR METHOD CONCERNED

PURPOSE:To cut the honeycomb core to a regular shape from the beginning by inserting a projecting part of a for mixing expansion/contraction preventive plate into a hole of the honeycomb core, putting integrally the expansion/ contraction preventive plate and the honeycomb core into a furnace, and pressurizing and heating them. CONSTITUTION:A honeycomb core H to which a forming expansion/contraction preventive plate 10 is attached is placed on a forming die, and put into a furnace. Thereafter, the inside of the furnace is pressurized and heated. In such a state, the honeycomb core H is allowed to follow the forming die, and formed to a desired shape. The honeycomb core H tends to expand and contract, when it is heated in the furnace, but its expansion and contraction are obstructed by the forming expansion/contraction preventive plate 10, and it does not expand nor contract from the regular dimensions.
