ROPE GROOVE STRUCTURE FOR ROPE WINDING BARREL OF WINCH

PURPOSE:To regularly wind a rope without causing the jumping or irregular winding of the rope by forming a rope groove on a rope winding barrel containing only parallel rope groove portions, and erasing part of the rope groove into a smooth circular arc face. CONSTITUTION:The development figure of a rope winding barrel is constituted of parallel grooves 2A arranged on a winding barrel section, a groove-less section 3A eliminated with parallel grooves, flanges on both side ends of the rope winding barrel, and rope pressers 1. The groove-less section 3A is made of a circular arc face and serves the necessary role for forcefully guiding the succeeding rope into the adjacent rope groove by the guide of the previously wound rope to wind it. The rope can be wound in either the right twist direction or the left twist direction regardless of the twist direction of the rope, and the rope grooves can be provided on the outer periphery of the rope barrel very easily.
