COMPOSITE VIBRATION-DAMPING STEEL SHEET FOR BUILDING MATERIAL AND V-BENDING TREATMENT THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prevent a 'gull' phenomenon when V-bending treatment is performed by bonding together in advance copper sheets of a composite vibration-damping copper sheet facing each other placing a resin between them at a V-vending punching position by such a bonding means as welding and caulking. CONSTITUTION:In a composite vibration-damping copper sheet 1, copper sheets 3a and 3b facing each other placing a resin 2 between them is treated in advance by seam welding 4 at a V-bending punching position 5. Seam welding 4 is preferably done in one or two directions in accordance with the treatment direction and instead of seam welding, spot welding 8 with a pitch of about 10-50mm may be performed. It is possible thereby to prevent 'gull' phenomenon even when V-bending treatment wherein the treatment radius is small.
