METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING ACCURACY OF SHAPE OF SCREW ROTOR

PURPOSE:To enable a shape accuracy of a screw rotor to be measured in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A reference rotor 2 of a screw shape corresponding to a screw rotor to be measured is provided. An air discharge nozzle 5 which is connected to an air micrometer 6 is provided at a location of engagement point for a screw rotor of the reference rotor 2. The reference rotor 2 is engaged with the screw rotor and air is discharged from a discharge nozzle 5 while it is being rotated. Change in instructed pressure of the air micrometer 6 and a rotary angle of the reference rotor 2 allow a shape of the screw rotor to be obtained.
