COIN SORTER/COUNTER AND ERRONEOUS DISTRIBUTION DETECTING METHOD FOR THE SORTER/COUNTER

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of coin detectors for detecting erroneous distribution, to make a measuring position proper, to decrease the probability of an abnormal signal caused by counting error and to realize the compact coin sorter/ counter and the erroneous distribution detecting method for the said sorter/ counter concerning the coin sorter/counter to sort, count and store coins. CONSTITUTION:For the coins put into a slot part 1, the denominations are discriminated, at a discrimination part 2 the number of the coins is recorded in a detection counter and afterwards, the coins are supplied to a coin sorting path 5. A coin detector 42 is installed on the coin sorting path 5, and the number of passed coins is recorded in a counter. A value counted by the counter is compared with the number, which is recorded in the detection counter, of coins to pass the record counter, and the erroneous distribution is detected.
