PURPOSE:To improve the unit requirement of fuel and to prolong the service life of a furnace by arranging double charging doors in charging hole disposed at the front of the heating furnace and enabling the removal of roller table in the furnace and the charge of a material having little heat loss. CONSTITUTION:A heat one in billets carried as the group with a skid 1 for charging billet, is carried to a roller table 3 with a billet charging device 2. This billet on the table 3 is aligned with a side pusher 4 and shifted to between the charging outer door 7 and the charging inner door 8 with rod transfers 5. Then, the billet arrived at between both doors 7, 8 is carried into the heating furnace 9 with a charging pusher 9.
