PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient centrifugal force and to execute depositing by providing the flat chip and flat nozzle of specified shape on a rotary torch and taking the structure of the rotary torch having a movement fulcrum between the flat chip tip and a revolving action power point. CONSTITUTION:A welding head 1 supports a rotary torch 3 by drooping it at specified inclining angle via a rotating mechanism 2 and flat nozzle 4 and flat chip 5 are provided at the torch 3 lower part. The flat chip 5 has a flat cross sectional shape of the dimension W in a groove width direction being smaller than those of welding progressing direction and the flat nozzle 4 also has similar flat cross sectional shape. When a revolving action is performed by rotating the torch 3 upper part not co-axially around a shaft center 7 by the rotating mechanism 2 by the structure like this, the torch 3 is crossed with the rotary shaft center 7 at the nozzle 4 part and this intersection 8 becomes the fulcrum of the revolving action of the torch 3. This fulcrum 8 is located at the lower part then the driving power point by the rotating mechanism 2 of the torch 3, and the tip of the chip 5 is eccentrically rotated at sufficient inclination, hence the deposition of the groove side wall can be executed under the action of sufficient centrifugal force.
